Luther improved to 8-2 for the year after securing today's double header sweep over St. Mary's University. The Norse had eight hits that led to an 11-2 victory in five innings. Luther led 4-2 entering what proved to be its final at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. The Norse put seven runs on the scoreboard thanks to five hits.

Emily Fell all drove in two runs. Skeie was 3-for-3 at the plate, while Berg and Fell were both credited with two hits.
Abbey Gapinski was credited with the win. She pitched 3 2/3 innings, allowed two runs on seven hits, walked one and struck out three.
Sam Thompson allowed two hits and struck out one working the final 1 1/3 innings.
Luther's next games are schedule outdoors at home on Saturday, March 20. The Norse will host Edgewood College (WI) for a twin-bill that will begin at Noon.
