MILWAUKEE, Wis.- The Norse wrapped up the last day of the Raider Invite closing out the tournament going 1-3. Today, Luther fell to the MSOE Raiders 1-3 (25-16, 20-25, 19-25, 19-25) and also dropped a 3 set match to the Pioneers of Carroll University 0-3 (17-25, 8-25, 14-25).
Game 1: Luther 1, MSOE 3Â
Luther Volleyball started day 2 taking the first set from the Raiders, but falling short losing the next three sets. MSOE recorded 47 kills and 6 blocks with a 0.121 hitting percentage compared to Luther's stats of 34 kills, 4 blocks, and a 0.090 hitting percentage. Lisa Schiltgen led the team in kills with 12 with the help of Iris Elias and her 24 assists. Ella Goodnight had 4 aces in the match, Izzy Rand had 3, and Ruby Gerhard recorded 2.

Game 2: Luther 0, Carroll 3
The Norse ended the day falling in a 3 set match to the Pioneers. Carroll was in full control offensively, hitting the Norse 39-16 kills and 8-1 blocks. They also controlled the match behind the service line with their 12 recorded aces. Ruby Gerhard had 7 kills in the match followed by Julianne Lundvall's 5, and Avery Amsden's 4. Elias stated 12 assists and 8 digs and Gerhard along with Liv Glumack each had one block.Â
The Norse will take the court again on Wednesday Sept. 16 in Winona, Minn. for the Saint Mary's Triangular. Here they will face the Eagles of UW-La Crosse at 5 p.m. followed by a match against Saint Mary's at 7 p.m.Â
