King, Pelicioni and Sperber Earn Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar Honors

NORMAN, Okla. – Owen King, Pedro Pelicioni, and Garett Sperber were recognized as 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America announced on Monday. Across NCAA Division III, 261 athletes from 95 schools earned 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar honors.
 
King is now a two-time All-America Scholar after earning his second straight honors. He also received College Sports Communicators (CSC) academic all-district honors in June. King played in all 20 rounds of the season and posted a low round of 73.
 
Seperber was named an All-America scholar for the first time in his career. He earned American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) all-conference honors by finishing ninth at the conference meet. Sperber played all 20 rounds and his low round was a 72. He also earned CSC academic all-district honors in June.
 
Pelicioni is also a first-time All-America scholar. He played in 11 rounds during the season for the Norse and recorded a low round of 67.
  
To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 79.0 in NCAA Division III, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
