DECORAH, Iowa — Luther College Athletic Communications Director Christine Bjornstal announced the appointment of Peri Arneson as the Athletic Communications Assistant. Arneson will be joining the team to support the coverage of 24 varsity programs and enhance student-athlete engagement through strategic communications efforts.

She brings experience in marketing and athletic communications, having previously worked as a Sports Information Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville as a student. Her expertise extends to live event coverage, social media management, and media relations, supporting 16 NCAA Division III varsity sports at UW-Platteville.

In her previous role, she traveled with many teams to conference and national tournaments. She has covered multiple sports including men's basketball, football, men's and women's soccer, men's wrestling and track and field at NCAA postseason events as well as WIAC conference tournaments.

She graduated from the UW-Platteville with a bachelor's degree in Integrated Marketing in May.
