Luther and St. Olaf met at Liberty High School located in West Liberty, Iowa for the first of a two-day, four-game stand. This afternoon, the Norse swept the Oles posting wins of 4-0 and 9-2.
In game one,
Brody Von Berge tossed a no-hitter. Von Berge faced 26 batters, allowed two walks and struck out nine.
The Norse scored two runs in the third and one in the fourth and sixth frames.
Ike Swanson, who was (2-for-4) drove in two runs.
Zach Gwost, who was (2-for-3) drove in a run, as did
Xavier Millan.

In game two, with the score tied 2-2, Luther put four runs on the scoreboard in the sixth, two in the seventh and one in the eight to secure the wins. Swanson and Millan both drove in two runs.
Noah Kindem, who his a lead-off home run in the fourth,
Jimmy Robbins,
Hayden Torgerson and
Tyrus Werner all had one rbi.
Sam Amundson was credited with the win. Amundson took over for
Josh Stratton in the sixth and held the Oles to just one hit and struck out seven.
