DECORAH, Iowa - The Luther men's basketball team was defeated by Coe 76-55. The Kohawks started on a 28-9 run with 7:32 before halftime. While the Norse did chip away the the Kohawks lead they were still trailing at the break (24-39). Coe kept up the offensive pressure in the second half building to their largest lead of the night at 22 points with 13:28 remaining (54-32). The Kohawks won the game as they shot 46.2 percent for the contest.
Coe was lead by Jackson Bowman who scored 35 points for a career high night.
Luther was led by
Charlie Wunderlich with 13 points followed by
Javier Rowell with 10.
Owen Bockenstedt led the team in rebounds with five along with nine points.
The Norse return to the court one week from tonight on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at Loras. Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m. in Dubuque, Iowa.
