DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Luther men's basketball team lost to Loras 63-58 on Wednesday night. The Duhawks had a 25-19 lead at halftime. Both teams fared far better in the second half as both team shooting percentages neared 45 percent. With 12 seconds left Jeremy Andrea's jumper had the Norse within three points (56-59). Loras held on to pick up the win and improve to 17-7 overall and 11-3 in conference. Luther outscored Loras in the second half 39-38.
 
Jeremy Andrea led the team with 14 points followed by Andre Palavra with 13. Henry Kreckman was one point shy of a double-double with 11 rebounds and nine points.
 
The Duhawks were led by Jack Haynes with 20 points.
 
Luther falls to 7-15 overall and 2-11 in the American Rivers Conference.
 
The Norse will play their final home game of the season on Saturday, Feb. 14 versus Buena Vista at 4 p.m.
