LINCOLN, Neb. – The Luther men's basketball team fell to Nebraska Wesleyan 64-57. The Norse were down by nine with 7:12 left in the first half (20-29) before proceeding on a 15-4 run to go into halftime with the lead (35-33). In the second half the score was tied eight times and with 2:50 remaining the game was tied at 57 after the layup by
Andre Palavra. Then the Prairie Wolves closed the game with a 7-0 run to win the game.
Luther shot 40 percent for the game while Nebraska Wesleyan was at 38.2 percent.
The leading scorer for the Norse was
Charlie Wunderlich with 14 points.
Henry Kreckman led the team in rebounds with 10. Every player that checked into the game recorded points for Luther.
Nebraska Wesleyan had four players score double-digits including Christian Winn, Nick Howard, Seth Newton and Devin Holman. The Prairie Wolves are now 13-5 overall and 8-1 in conference action.
