CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The American Rivers Conference announced the 2025 Women's Golf Coaches' Preseason poll on Thursday. Luther was voted to finish ninth. 

The program named Haakon Rustad the interim head coach as he leads the Norse in his first season. Returning to the squad are veterans Annemarie Schloo and Maci Doty along with several new faces. 

"I am very happy with the progress that this team has made through our pre-season practice and we are looking forward to competing against some of the top competition around the Midwest during the fall season," said Rustad. The A-R-C Conference Championship at the end of our season will be an exciting opportunity for us to see all of our hard work pay off."

The women's golf team begins the 2025-26 season at the Kohawk Classic hosted by Coe College on Aug. 30-31 at Pheasants Ridge Golf Course in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
