The women's golf team began its fall schedule at the two-day Kohawk Classic hosted by Coe College. The two-day tournament was played at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Ten teams competed on the Par 72 that measured 5870 yards.
Luther shot rounds of 342-436 for a 688 and placed tenth. Mounty Mercy University (IA) won the team title with a (297-302-599). The University of Dubuque (304-303-607) was second followed by Wartburg College (314-317-637).
Individually,
Claire Bogenrief led the Norse placing in a three-way tie for 21st from the field of 68 players that completed both rounds. Bogenrief shot rounds of (85-76-161).
The remainder of the Norse five and where they placed included

Maci Doty (T55 - 178),
Kajsa Hellmark (61st - 184) and
Addison Thibodeau (64th - 191).

The Norse return to action on Sept. 6-7 when they will travel to Waverly, Iowa for the Wartburg Fall Invitational. The two-day tournament will be played at Prairie Links Golf Course.
