CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announced the 2024-25 All-American Scholar team on Monday, June 30 with 1,499 women's collegiate golfers from 403 programs were recognized. Five Luther women's golfers including
Anna Barbknecht,
Maci Doty,
Annemarie Schloo,
Teagan Schaefer and
Samantha Suski earned the honors. Luther had the most All-American Scholars of the American Rivers Conference with five of the 11 honorees.
Suski is the first ever four-time All-American Scholar in program history. Barbknecht, Schloo, Schaefer two-time honorees. Doty earns the honor for the first-time in her career. This is the sixth consecutive season Luther has had three or more individuals make the list.
To be selected the student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher, be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season, and have played in at least fifty percent of the team's regularly-scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
