DECORAH, Iowa - The Luther men's basketball lost their second straight game falling to St. Olaf 67-57.
Charlie Wunderlich and
Henry Kreckman recorded 12 points each. The Oles did most of their damage beyond the arc shooting 55 percent. With 6:31 remaining in the second half a pair of free throws from Kreckman had the Norse within two points (49-51) but the Oles managed to pull away down the stretch.
Luther scored more points in the paint than St. Olaf (34-16) and even out rebounded the Oles (41-36).
Javier Rowell had nine points followed by
Jeremy Andera and
Yigit Yarisci with seven points each.
St. Oalf is now 3-3 while Luther is 4-2.
The next game for the Norse will be at Wartburg on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m. in Waverly, Iowa.
