INDIANOLA, Iowa — Luther (6-2-6, 3-0-3 A-R-C) and Simpson (5-6-7, 2-3-2 A-R-C) played to a 1-1 draw at Bill Buxton Stadium. Nels Mortenson scored his goal of the season in the 57th minute. 

Tied 0-0 heading into the second half but the Norse would break the deadlock in the 57th minute. After the initial shot by Paul Menge was blocked by the Storm defense, Mortensen was able to collect the rebound giving Luther a 1-0 lead. 

Simpson found the equalized in the 82nd minute with a goal from Mitchell Dickson. Francesco Mungari took a shot late in the game but the game concluded in a 1-1 draw. 

The Norse will return home to host Nebraska Wesleyan University on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 2:30 p.m. in Decorah, Iowa for senior day.
