DECORAH, Iowa – Julia Moreno and doubles pair Joao Benvenutti and Abhay Chhabra have been named the September LetterWërks Athletes of the Month.

Moreno went 9-4 in doubles and 7-2 in singles play during the month. At the ITA regional tournament, she reached the round of 16 in both singles and doubles with records of 3-1 and 2-1. She was also named American Rivers Conference women's tennis Performer of the Week on Sept. 22. 

Doubles pair Benvenutti and Chhabra won the A-R-C Individual Tournament Flight A Doubles bracket going undefeated. The duo also reached the semifinals of the ITA regional.
