CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Michel Heinrich and Mari Paulsen were named the American Rivers Conference men's and women's cross country Runners of the Week. The cross country teams hosted the Coach Finanger Invitational in Waseca, Minn. on Saturday, Oct. 11 for a 4k race.

Heinrich and the men's cross country team captured the team title with 31 points out of six teams. He finished third overall with a time of 12:30.4 in the four-mile event. The meet also featured Gustavus Adolphus, Martin Luther, Augsburg, Crown and the University of Minnesota-Morris. There were 88 total runners in the race.

On the women's side, Paulsen finished sixth overall with a time of 15:40.0. The Norse finished second out of six teams with 50 points. The race also featured Gustavus Adolphus, Crown, St. Catherine, Martin Luther and Augsburg and 78 runners.
