ATLANTA, Ga. - The Luther men's basketball team closed the first half of the season with a 50-64 loss to Huntingdon College. The Norse kept it close in the first half down 25-29 at the break. The first frame featured four lead changes and one tie at 14-14 with 9:47 to play. The Hawks defense limited the Norse to 23.5 percent from the field in the second half.
As a team Luther had 14 steals in the game compared to seven that Huntingdon had.
Charlie Wunderlich led the team with 13 points setting a career high.
Yigit Yarisci had seven rebounds.
Javier Rowell,
Matthew Franzen and
Mikkel Schutte all tallied three steals.
Huntingdon improves to 10-2 overall while Luther falls to 1-10.
