DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Luther volleyball team was defeated by Dubuque in straight sets (22-25, 11-25, 17-25). The Norse fall to 5-21 overall and 1-5 in the American Rivers Conference.
Late in the first set Luther tied the set at 22 all but Dubuque would end the set on a three point run of their own. The Norse out hit the Spartans with a .209 hitting percentage.
Dubuque turned their offense around in the second and third set to get the sweep over Luther.
Sarina Stortz led the team with 12 kills.
Emma Kowalczyk had 23 assists and
Kyah Olson-Sola recorded 16 digs.
The Spartans improved their record to 18-8 overall and 4-1 in the A-R-C.
