DECORAH, Iowa - The Luther College Wrestling dual against Central College on Feb. 6, 2025 will be televised on Iowa PBS. The announcement was made by Iowa PBS on Tuesday (Oct. 15).

"Bringing College Wrestling back to Iowa PBS is a homecoming for both the sport and our statewide network," said Iowa PBS General Manager and Executive Director Andrew Batt. "We're proud to showcase a celebrated broadcast series with deep ties to Iowa's sports history to a new generation of viewers." 

In addition to its statewide broadcast, Iowa PBS .1 is available to livestream on iowapbs.org/watch, pbs.org/livestream, the PBS app, Local Now, YouTube TV and Hulu + Live TV. Iowa PBS programs, behind-the-scenes extras and more can be enjoyed on iowapbs.org, Facebook and YouTube. Viewers can also stream their favorite shows on demand using the PBS app, available on iOS, Android and many streaming devices. 

Along with exceptional coverage of College Wrestling, on the call will be a legendary duo Tim "The Voice of College Wrestling" Johnson and Jim Miller. 

"We are excited PBS is bringing College Wrestling back to the great wrestling fans in Iowa and we are thrilled Luther will be the host of one of the televised duals on February 6th," said head wrestling coach Dave Mitchell. "Our Luther College Wrestling 'Sea Of Blue' fanbase is second to none in the world of NCAA Division III Wrestling. Our fans will provide an exciting environment and our wrestlers will provide exciting action for all wrestling fans across the state to watch on PBS."

This will be the final wrestling dual in the gym before its renovation. 

"This is a great opportunity to showcase Luther College Wrestling and bid farewell to our historic venue where thousands of athletes have competed on throughout its lifespan," stated athletics communications director Christine Bjornstal. "We're thrilled to work with PBS to cover this great event." 

The Norse have won the last two meetings over the Dutch. Last season Luther beat Central 21-17 in Pella, Iowa.

Iowa PBS will also cover the following matches in 2025 with coverage and start times subject to change.

• Thursday, January 30: Augsburg University vs. Wartburg College
