DECORAH, Iowa - In case you missed it the Luther men's basketball team faced the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in exhibition on Friday, Nov. 17 in Milwaukee, Wis. It was the first ever meeting between the two programs in history.
The game was televised on ESPN+ and the first exhibition game since the 2019-20 season when the Norse played at the University of Northern Iowa.Â
Luther went on a 15-1 run to close out the first half. UW-Milwaukee led 34-27 at halftime. Then to start the second half,
Daniel Webster hit an open look three-pointer to cut the Panther lead to four points. UW-Milwaukee won the game 85-56.
The Norse led by
Randall Days with 13 points followed by
Ben Gill and Webster with 10 points each.Â
The exhibition does not count towards season or statistical records.Â
The next home game for the Norse will be on Saturday, Nov. 25 when they host Crown College at 3 p.m.
