Men's soccer at St. Olaf postponed due to heat

NORTHFIELD, MINN. - The Luther College men's soccer game at St. Olaf was postponed due to high temperatures in the Northfield area. The two teams are looking to reschedule the nonconference contest in October, and more information will be released on www.luthernorse.com

The Norse, who recently received votes in the United Soccer Coaches (USC) top-25 poll, and Oles were originally scheduled to compete at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20. In compliance with Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) policies, the game was postponed due to a high heat index, as the projected temperature at kickoff was 90 degrees with humidity over 50%. Due to scheduling conflicts, the teams were unable to reschedule for this week and will instead look to play in October.
