NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Luther men's soccer team saw its season come to an end after falling to St. Olaf 1-0 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Norse held the Oles to three shots on goal in marking the lowest of the season.
Both teams were held scoreless in the opening half. In the 63
rd minute Tustin Todd scored for St. Olaf on the counter attack to break the deadlock. Luther had several good chances coming in the 67

th but all were stopped by the St. Olaf goalkeeper Jack Hobday. The Oles will move on to the sweet sixteen with the win.
Luther out shot St. Olaf 13-11 and led in shots on goal with 5-3.
The Norse conclude the 2025 season with a 10-3-7 overall record and 4-0-4 in the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C). Luther won both the A-R-C regular season and the tournament championship both against Wartburg in Decorah. It also marked the first time since 2002 Luther won both titles.
The team reached the second round of the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2019.
Next fall Luther will compete in the Midwest Conference.
