The men's tennis team traveled to Rochester, Minn., and the Rochester Tennis Connection for a non-conference match against Macalester College. The Norse defeated the Scots 6-3. Luther led 2-1 after doubles and then secured four wins in singles. Luther has now won two in a row and is 3-4 overall. Maclester fell to 3-1.

Max Loen and
Nyathi Motlojoa defeated Matthew Sullivan and Josh Marine (8-2) at No. 1.
Joaquim Fernandes and
Francisco Navarrete posted an (8-4) win at No. 2 over Alex Sargent and Karsten Knutsen. At No. 3, Nate Whithers and
Eli Young were defeated by Alex Poland and Liam Lynch (8-5).
In singles Motlojoa won (6-4, 6-2) at No. 1 over Sargent. Loen posted a (6-4, 6-1) over Knutsen at No. 2.
Dylan Wiemers defeated Anton Korolev (6-3, 6-4) at No. 5. Fernandes won in a three-ste tie breaker (6-1, 2-6, 12-10) over Jordan Doi at No. 3.

Luther will begin American Rivers Conference play on March 5 when it will travel to Simpson College to face the Storm and Central College. The Central match will begin at Noon, followed by the Simpson match at 3:00 p.m.
