Luther traveled to Petrakis Field in Dubuque, Iowa for the first of four games against the Loras College Duhawks. A two-run home run by Cullen Stamp to right-center field in the fourth frame was all that was needed for the victory.

Tyler Boesel kept the Duhawks in check throwing a four-hit shutout. Boesel faced 25 batters, walked two and struck out five en route to his sixth win against one loss this season.

Luke Plunket was the only player to record multiple hits for either team. Plunkett was 2-for-3 and raised hit batting average to .442

The win gives Luther an A-R-C record of 21-4, 25-8 overall. Loras fell to 14-11 in league play, 19-12 overall.
