Luther traveled to Central College today to play the first two games of this four-game American Rivers Conference series. In game one, the Norse defeated the Dutch 3-2.
Tyler Boesel went the distance on the mound allowing four hits. He faced 27 batters, struck out six and did not issue a walk. The victory gives Boesel a record of 3-0.

Matt Karnes, who got the start behind the plate, was 2-for-3 and drove in the first run of the game in the second with a single up the middle.
Joe McKibben hit a two-out, bases loaded single to left in the fifth, that scored
Owen Vander Linden and
Luke Plunkett.
The win gives Luther an A-R-C record of 5-0, 9-5 overall. Central fell to 2-7 in league play, 4-9 overall.
