LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Luther College Softball senior shortstop Raven Allen was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region IX team earning third team honors announced on Friday.
 
This season, she received first-team American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) all-conference performer. Allen led the team in several statistical categories including batting average (.449), hits (57) which included 16 doubles, five triples, and three home runs, runs batted in (rbi) (47), and runs (44). She only struck out six times in 127 at-bats. Defensively, she had 66 putouts, and 68 assists for a .931 fielding percentage.

"Raven's offensive numbers speak for themselves in terms of how many hits, stolen bases, runs scored, and rbi in her career as a four-year starter," softball head coach Renae Hartl said. "What I am the most proud of is the work she put in to make herself into one of the best shortstops in Luther Softball history. If you were on one of her teams or got to watch her play shortstop live at a game in the Valley, you almost can't believe some of the incredible plays she made for us. I am so thankful that her parents and she trusted us four years ago to come up to Iowa from Alabama to get her college degree and leave her mark on all of us."
 
Allen played in 161 games in her career. She ranks third all-time career stolen bases (43), fifth doubles (46), eighth in at-bats (504) and runs scored (130), ninth in hits (189), and tied ninth walks (65). Allen also had 115 career rbi and was also a second-team A-R-C all-conference performer in 2025.
 
The NFCA honored 386 student athletes from 161 programs. All honorees move forward to be considered for selection for the three NFCA Division III All-America squads, which will be announced May 27 on NFCA.org and the Association's social media accounts.
