Game two of this double header was a complete contrast of game number one. Luther's
Sam Thompson and Dubuque's Lexi Schmidt batteled in the circle for eight innings and allowed a combined 13 hits compared to the 29 hits in game one.
In a game that took 1:45, Dubuque held a 2-0 lead after five innings. Luther scored a run in the sixth, seventh and eighth frames to secure a 3-2 come-from-behind victory.

Belle Berg hit a bases loaded single that scored
Leah Crown who was pinch running for
Emily Versnik who started the frame with a single to left.
Elsa Skeie tied the game in the seventh with a lead-off home run to left field. In the eighth, Versnik lead-off with her second single of the game.
Lara Welter was called to pinch run.
Emily Fell laid down a bunt single to the third base side. In the midst of the play, the Spartan's third baseman was trying to pick up the ball with her glove but unintentionally knocked the ball loose and towards the Norse dugout. Both Welter and Fell started to advance to second and third and and the throw towards second in an attempt to put out Fell, went in to the center field and Welter scored what proved to be the game winner.
Thompson (4-0) was credited with the win. She faced 28 batters, allowed two runs on four hits, walked two and struck out five.
The win gives Luther an American Rivers Conference record of 2-2, 13-5 overall. Dubuque is now 3-2 in league play, 8-3 overall.
These two teams will wrap up this three-game series with a single game in Dubuque on Tuesday, March 30. First pitch is slated for 3:00 p.m.
