Luther won game one of this non-conference double header with Hamline University 6-3 this afternoon in the valley. When Norse starter
Nick Dufoe threw the first pitch, it marked the first time in 693 days that a baseball game was being played in Decorah due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Luther's last home game prior to today was April 28, 2019.
Dufoe pitched eight solid innings, allowing three runs, only one earned. He walked one and struck out three en rout to his second victory of the season.
Luther led 2-1 after seven. Hamline scored twice in the top of the eighth to take a 3-2 lead. Luther answered with four runs in the bottom of the eighth to secure the victory.

The win gives Luther an overall record of 3-4. Hamline fell to 2-5.
