Luther hosted Coe College tonight in the Regents Center Gym for the American Rivers Conference opener for both teams. The Kohawks defeated the Norse 58-34.
Andrew Lazinbat was the lone Norse to score double digits producing a game high 14 points. Coe was led by Jarad Kruse who was credited with 13.
The Kohawks won the battle of the boards 42-32 and held the Norse to 27% from the field.
The loss gives Luther an overall record of 1-4, while Coe improved to 6-1.
Luther will return to action on Saturday, Nov. 27 when it will host non-conference opponent Crown College. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
