Biography
2023-24: Lazinbat started in all 25 games for the Norse. He recorded 128 points, 59 assists, 51 rebounds, eight steals and two blocks. In his career he played in 84 games scoring 478 points, 241 rebounds, 181 assists, 50 steals and seven blocks.Â
2022-23: As a junior, Lazinbat started all 25 games and played a team-leading 626 total minutes. He shot a career-high 44 percent from the floor and 81 percent from the free throw line, finishing the season with 182 points, 73 rebounds, 60 assists and 20 steals. Lazinbat scored a career-high 19 points against Loras on February 8, 2023 and recorded a career-high seven assists against Simpson earlier in the week.Â
2021-22: As a sophomore, Lazinbat appeared in all 25 games for Luther with 24 starts. He played 576 total minutes, scoring 132 total points with 91 rebounds, 47 assists one block and 18 steals. Lazinbat led the team in assists and ranked second in steals at the conclusion of the regular season.Â
2020-21: As a first year, Lazinbat appeared in all nine games during the COVID shortened season with seven starts.Â
High School: Lazinbat received plenty of honors during his prep career at Brandeis High School. A two-time letter winner, Lazinbat earned all-conference honors as a sophomore and was a two-time academic all-conference honoree. He led the Broncos to the Region IV Championship and the state tournament during his career and was named academic all-state.Â
Personal: Lazinbat is the son of Jason and Catherine Lazinbat.
