A 2021 graduate of Luther, the 2025 campaign will be Carson's second as an assistant coach. He returns to Luther from North Central College (IL) where he was a graduate assistant for the past two years.
While playing for the Norse, Carson made 91 appearances that included 80 starts for the Norse at goalkeeper. His career goals-against-average of 1.16 ranks ninth on Luther's all-time list. He also ranked tied for third for career shutouts (20), tied for ninth for single season shutouts (8), and 10th for single season goals-against-average (0.95). Twice he was named all-conference and helped lead the Norse to a regular season conference title (2017) and back-to-back Elite 8 appearances in the NCAA III National Tournament (2018, 2019).
