Second season with the Norse…while at Clayton High School, he was a four-year letter winner in both basketball and track and field…in basketball he was named all-state, all-district and scored over 1500 points…on the track he was the New Mexico 2A state high jump champion…served as captain for both teams…member of National Honor Society…son of John and Janis Ruf.
