Prior to joining the Luther staff he has was an assistant coach at Augsburg University (MN) since 2018 where he served as defensive coordinator, recruiting coordinator, video coordinator and also coached defensive backs
He has also coached at University of Minnesota (2016-18), Hamline University (2015-16), and at DeLaSalle High School, Minneapolis, Minn. (2014-15)
While playing at the University of Minnesota, he was a a three-year starter at linebacker and earned Academic All-Big Ten honors three times
