Two-year letter winner…he is a returning starter on the offensive line…two-time American Rivers Conference Fall Sports All-Academic Team honoree (3.5 GPA or higher)…while at Mahtomedi High School he was a two-year letter winner in football and five-time letter winner in wrestling…named all-district honorable mention in football and was also named Zephyrs Most Valuable Offensive Lineman…helped lead football team to a 10-1 record and a district and sectional championship…on the mat he was a Minnesota 5A State Meet qualifier…four-time academic all-section honoree…AP National Scholar…member of the National Honor Society…son of Eric and Barb Nelson.
