Biography

2024: Manternach started in 12 games recording a 3-1 record and a 4.97 ERA. He pitched 58.0 innings and had 47 strikeouts. Manternach finishes his career with a 13-10 record, a 4.30 ERA, 221.2 innings pitched and 153 strikeouts. 

2023: He appeared in 13 games starting 11 and posted a 5-3 record. Manternach pitched 74.1 innings with one complete game and one shutout. He had 47 strikeouts, limited opponents to a .285 batting average, en route to an ERA of 4.48.

2022: During the season he appeared in 13 games while starting in 12 and posted a 4-4 record in 68.1 innings pitched. He recorded a team leading 2.77 ERA with 49 strikeouts. In conference play he had a 1.67 in 37.2 innings pitched with 23 strikeouts and held opponents to a .261 batting average. He earned his first team all-conference honors for the first time in his career. 

High School: While at Monticello High School he earned four letters in baseball and two as a member of the basketball team. He was a two-time River Valley Conference all-conference selection in baseball. He was also named all-region twice and all-state and helped lead the Panthers to a conference championship. He earned academic all-conference in both sports and was a member of the National Honor Society.
