Returns for sixth season with the Norse...has played in 149 career games with a .349 career batting average with 131 RBI, 41 doubles and 20 home runs...ABCA All-Region IX Third Team (2024)...A-R-C First Team All-Conference (2024, 2025)...A-R-C All-Conference Honorable Mention (2023)...while at Lincoln High School was a multiple time letter winner in football, basketball and baseball...named the football team's MVP twice and was a Hiawatha Valley League all-conference honoree...on the court he was a part of four conference championship teams and helped lead the Tigers to a third place finish at the 2019 Minnesota 2A State Tournament...in baseball he earned all-conference honors three times...twice was named all-area and a three-time team MVP...son of Mark and Amy Matanich.
