NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The Luther men's cross country season began at the Ole Opener hosted by St. Olaf College. The Norse finished 4th overall with Jacob Bruns as the top finisher who was 15th place with a time of 16:34.0 in the 5k race. 

Top-five finishers Bruns (15th - 15 pts - 16:34.0), Adam Gray (16th - 16 pts - 16:34.0), Michel Heinrich (18th - 18 pts - 16:35.3), Johnny Fox (56th - 30 pts - 17:55.4), and Ben Murr (57th - 31 pts - 17:55.4). 

Jack Bode (58th - 17:55.5) and Miles Bremer (72nd - 18:52.5) completed the top-seven. 

Up next the Norse will be hosting the 53nd annual All-American Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 12. The 4-mile race will be at 12:15 p.m. on the cross country course at Luther College.
