DECORAH, Iowa – Luther College men's and women's bowling head coach Quinton Bohlen announced Andrew Kruse as an assistant coach.

"I am excited to bring Mr. Andy Kruse on board," Bohlen said. "He has an optimism that is contagious. He brings new energy, and an extra set of eyes. With his help, I am confident that our team is on the right track."

Although Kruse began bowling just four years ago, his obsession with studying the sport moved quickly. He swiftly earned his USBC Bronze Level Coaching certification, dedicating himself to learning bowling mechanics, lane play, and execution. Passionate about developing talent across all skill levels, he actively volunteers with the youth bowling league at Kingpin Entertainment and competes in several local leagues with a couple 300 games to his name. 
 
A lifelong native of Decorah, Iowa, Kruse brings deep local roots and a strong commitment to public service, having spent 26 years with the City of Decorah, where he currently serves as Wastewater Superintendent. He also works part-time at Kingpin Entertainment.
