DECORAH, Iowa – The Luther women's tennis team (15-8), ranked no. 64 by the ITA, is back in the NCAA Division III National Tournament for the 19^th time in program history. They earned the automatic bid after defeating Coe College (4-3) on Saturday, April 25 in the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) tournament championship. The Norse won their 12^th A-R-C Tournament title. The regional will take place in St. Peter, Minn. at Gustavus Adolphus College May 8-9.
 
Luther will take on Illinois Tech on Friday, May 8 at 10 a.m. The Scarlet Hawks won the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) championship on Sunday defeating Edgewood University (4-2). This is just their second NCAA tournament berth in program history. Illinois Tech comes into the tournament 11-9 overall. The match will mark the first ever meeting between the two teams.

The regional also features no. 1 UChicago (16-4), no. 20 Gustavus Adolphus (29-5), no. 28 University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (20-2), and the University of Wisconsin-Superior (19-7).
