The Luther College men's tennis team, ranked No. 48 by the ITA in the NCAA III, traveled to Lincoln, Neb., for perhaps the final time, to face Nebraska Wesleyan University. On July 1, Luther will be leaving the American Rivers Conference to become an official member of the Midwest Conference. The Norse won today's match (6-1) and improved to 6-0 and remained atop the league standings.
Luther won two of three doubles matches and followed with five of six singles victories. The lone tally for the Prarie Wolves came at No. 2 singles where
Rhys Biro-Moore retired after losing the first set (6-4) and was up (3-1) in the second.
Jake Nelson won a three-set tie breaker at No. 4 (7-6, 5-7, 10-4), while
Gerardo Ramirez Mainou at No. 1,
Dikshan Chhikara at No. 3,
Gregor Gottein at No. 5 and
Jake Althaus at No. 6, all won in straight sets.
Biro-Moore and Nelson posted a (6-1) victory at No. 1 doubles and Althaus and Gottein won (6-2) ant No. 3 doubles.

Luther travels to No. 52 Coe College tomorrow, Sunday, April 19, for a clash between two of the top teams in the A-R-C. The Kohawks are also undefeated in league play posting a record of 5-0. Wartburg College in right behind at 5-1. Start time in Cedar Rapids is slated for 1 p.m.
