CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – On Wednesday, the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) announced the 2025-26 women's basketball all-conference teams.
Haylie Strum and
Natalie Beaver were both honored with first team selections. Strum was also named the conference defensive player of the year.
Strum is the first defensive player of the year for the Norse since Laura Hamilton in 2019. She led the league in steals with 39 total averaging 2.3 per game and ranked seventh in the conference in blocked shots with 20. On the offensive side of the ball, she was third in the conference in assists with 60 and sixth in scoring averaging 15.8 points per game. Strum is a three-time all-conference performer.
Beaver earns her first team all-conference selection after receiving second team honors a season ago. She ranked among the top-ten in three categories including third in rebounds with 134, fourth in scoring at 16.6 points per game, and fourth in free throw percentage at 84.6 percent. Beaver was also 11
th in field goal percentage (46.2), three-point field goals per game (1.5), and blocked shots (11). This season she recorded 10 double-doubles.
