The men's swimming and diving team wrapped up its dual meet schedule with a 142-84 victory over Loras College this afternoon in Dubuque. The Norse depth proved to be the difference as they posted six first place finishes but had numerous runner-up finishes that increased the point total.
Divers
Colin Halverson and
Amir Womack dominated the one-meter board, 11 dives competition. The 11 dives were divided into two rounds, five during the first and six in the second. Halverson, who has already qualified for the NCAA III Regional Diving Championships, won both the five dive (175.55) and six dive (283.80) events with a combined total of (459.35). Womack was runner-up in five dives (159.20) and six dives (268.55), and posted an NCAA Regional cut total of (427.75).
Posting first place finishes for the Norse included
Brock Ohlensehlen in the 1000 Freestyle (10:53.94),
Owen McCredie in the 100 Freestyle (:51.20) and
Gabe Armstrong in the 100 Breaststroke (1:03.07). The foursome of
Drew Chamberlain, Armstrong,
Kevin Kretz and
Ian Allsup won the 200 medley relay (1:39.58).

Up Next? Luther will host the 2026 American Rivers Conference Swimming and Diving Championships Wednesday, Feb. 18 through Saturday, Feb. 21. This will be the final time that Luther will be competing for an A-R-C title as Luther Athletics will be joining the Midwest Conference as a full member next year.
Since the A-R-C officially recognized swimming and diving as an official championship sport in 2023, the men have captured titles in 2023 and 2025. The top-three individuals in each event will earn all-conference honors.
