The men's tennis team won its fifth match in a row after defeating Buena Vista University this morning in the Bob and Ann Naslund Sports and Recreation Center. The win gives the Norse an A-R-C record of 2-0, 6-1 overall.
Luther lost just two games in doubles.
Gregor Gottein and
Jake Nelson at No. 1, and brothers
Abhay Chhabra and
Nirbhay Chhabra at No. 3 posted (6-1) victories.
Jake Althaus and
Juan Hernandez Herrera won at No. 2 (6-0).
All six singles matches were secured in straight sets.
Joao Benvenutti at No. 1 and
Geoffrey Stoughton at No. 6 both won (6-0, 6-0).
Gerardo Ramirez Mainou at No. 2 posted a (6-1, 6-1) victory.
Rhys Biro-Moore won at No. 3 (6-2, 6-1), Gottein won at No. 4 (6-3, 6-4), and
Dikshan Chhikara at No. 5 won (6-0, 6-2).
