The Midwest Conference (MWC) Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is holding its 12^th annual MWC SAAC Giving Challenge. Each member institution SAAC will oversee campus efforts to collect non-perishable food items or cash donations which are then donated to local food pantries, shelters or similar organizations of the institution's choosing. The Luther College collection period for donations began on Wednesday, Oct. 7 and goes through Wednesday, Nov. 4.

Fans coming to home events scheduled during that time frame are encouraged to bring donations. The first event that Luther will be collecting donations will be on Saturday, Oct. 10 when the Norse women's tennis team takes on Lawrence University at 2 p.m. at the tennis courts. Two dollars or a canned food item will get you free pancakes that afternoon.

You can also drop off items during the week to a donation box in the main entrance of the Gerdin Fieldhouse.
