Luther hosted the Sprint Invitational this afternoon and placed second. There were four teams in the field. St. Ambrose University won the team title with (1089) points, followed by Luther (481), Iowa Central Community College (377) and Iowa Lakes Swimming & Diving (175).
First place finishes were posted by

Colin Halverson (1-meter diving),
Gabe Armstrong (50 breaststroke) and
Noah Cochran (100 butterfly).
Luther returns to action Friday and Saturday, Jan. 16-17 when it will compete at the Grinnell Invitational.Â
