ST. PETER, Minn. — Luther was edged by Gustavus Adolphus 1-0. The game, initially suspended due to heat on Saturday, Sept. 13, resumed with the end of the first half. The Gusties scored the game winner in the 60th minute. Elisabeth Queoff made seven saves setting a season high. 

In the first half, the Luther defense face nine shots from the Gusties which Queoff made six saves on. Shots by Anya Kennedy and Sofia Colavita in the 12th and 17th minute tested goalkeeper Katelyn Olson but it was scoreless heading into the break. 

Coming out of the break, Gustavus Adolphus Cambelle Waldspurger scored in the 60th minute for a 1-0 advantage. In the final 20 minutes of the half, the Norse looked to equalize as they out shot the Gusties 4-2. Gustavus Adolphus won the game 1-0 improving to 4-1-4 overall while Luther falls to 4-3-1. 

Colavia led the team with three shots while Kennedy and Kate Van Deventer had two. 

The Norse are set to host the University of Wisconsin-River Falls on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m.
