Buena Vista University hosted its annual Fall Invitational this past Saturday and Sunday. The two-day tournament was played at Lake Creek Country Club, a par 72 that played 5712 yards. Luther shot rounds of 355 and 360 for a 715 and placed sixth from the field of 10 teams. There were 54 players who completed both rounds.
Simpson College (666) won the team title, followed by Buena Vista (668) and Des Moines Area Community College (674).
Claire Bogenrief posted her first career top-10 finish. Bogenrief finished in a two-way tie for seventh carding rounds of 83-83-166.
The remainder of the Norse five and where they finished included
Annemarie Schloo (T18 - 173),
Maci Doty (34th - 187),
Kajsa Hellmark (T36 - 189) and
Hannah Buckner (51st - 218). Ellenna Gisvold (53rd - 237) played as an individual.

Luther has one more tune-up before the American Rivers Conference Tournament. On Sunday, Sept. 28, the Norse will play in the Waldorf Fall Invitational that will be played at Wedgewood Golf Club, Albert Lea, Minn.
