Five teams traveled to Albert Lea, Minn., and Wedgewood Cove Golf Course for the 18-hole Waldorf Fall Invitational. This was the final tune-up for the Norse before the American Rivers Conference Tournament that will be held Oct. 11-13.
Luther placed third carding a 335, the lowest one round team total since the fall of 2021. Des Moines Area Community College won the team title with a 321. Wartburg College was second (329), North Iowa Area Community College was fourth (354) and Waldorf finished fifth (399).
The Norse had three players post top-10 finishes.
Annemarie Schloo finished in a three-way tie for second shooting 79. She finished one stroke behind tournament medalist Hannah Kenkel of Des Moines Area Community College.
Maci Doty posted her first career top-10 carding an 81 and finished in a two-way tie for seventh.
Claire Bogenrief shot 83 and placed ninth.
Kajsa Hellmark (92) and
Elleanna Gisvold (116) completed the Norse five placing 20th and 32nd respectively.

The A-R-C 54 hole conference tournament will be making its first appearance at
Glynn's Creek Golf Course, located in Long Grove, Iowa, about 15 miles North of Davenport. The three-day tournament will be played Oct. 11-13.
