DECORAH, Iowa - The Luther women's basketball team ended the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) regular season with a victory over Central 65-48. After three close quarters the Norse held a slim 44-42 advantage heading into the final ten minutes. In the final frame, Luther outscored Central 21-6 to improve to 17-8 overall and finish fourth in the conference standings with a 10-6 record.
The Norse led several statistical categories in the game including rebounds (45-38), points in the paint (44-24) and points off turnovers (18-10).
Haylie Strum led the scorers with 20 points and five assists. 
Kate Hosking went 6-14 from the field for 14 points, four assists and two blocks. She moves into sixth all-time in career blocks with 94. 
Kailey Jones recorded her 47th career double-double and seventh straight with 14 rebounds and 13 points. 
Natalie Beaver had nine points, eight rebounds and led the team with four blocks. 
For the game Luther shot 39.4 percent from the field compared to 30.0 percent from Central.
At the end of the game the Norse honored their 2025 senior class of 
Kenlin Schmitt, 
Kayla Will, Hosking and Jones.
