Norse Defeat Beavers 85-50

STORM LAKE, Iowa - The Luther women's basketball team swept the season series over Buena Vista Unviersity with an 85-50 victory. The Norse have won the last six meetings over the Beavers. Kate Hosking led the team with 20 points and Kailey Jones recorded her 12th double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Haylie Strum chipped in 13 points and a team best eight assists. With the win Luther improves to 14-6 overall and 7-4 in the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C). 

Offensively, Luther shot 52.3 percent from the field (34-65) and a 42.3 percentage mark from beyond the arc. This was the fourth highest point total for the Norse this season. Luther also out rebounded Buena Vista 44-30. 

Buena Vista is now 6-13 overall and 1-9 in the A-R-C.
