DECORAH, Iowa – Francesco Mungari of men's soccer and Mia Prater of women's swimming and diving have been named the November LetterWërks Athletes of the Month.
 
Mungari scored four goals in the month of November. He recorded his first career hat trick in the NCAA Tournament first round against Lake Forest on Nov. 15. Mungari was named the American Rivers Conference offensive MVP and earned all-conference honors for the first time in his career.
 
Prater set school records in the 100 freestyle with her time of 51.51 and in the 100 IM with a time of 59.65 in the Luther Invitational Nov. 21-22. In that same weekend her time in the 50 free prelims at 23.35 is an NCAA 'B' cut. In the month of November she won nine events across three meets.  
 
The LetterWërks Athlete of the Month award looks to honor and highlight Luther student-athlete achievements throughout a given month of competition.
